This is where it all started. Before this there are just blurred, intermittent memories that seem ever so unimportant. Forced friendships, insincere interactions & awkward conversations. I felt these connections were necessary, that all these people & I would be close forever. We grew up in a small town & for the most part it seemed adequate up until a certain point.
Then I connected with two individuals whose souls seemed so in sync with mine, that every other seemed irrelevant. They thought how I thought and felt how I felt. We spent so many hours in endless conversations, discussing the future, ultimate questions & conspiracy theories. No stone unturned we discussed it all, every facet of existence. They were first people I really opened up to, let them see into the depths of my soul, exposing the true essence of who I am. We would often stay up till the sun rose, engrossed in the best verbal back & forths I’ve ever had. We were mutually inspirational cogs in a machine we called Dark Circle. Since then I have only encountered one or two other souls like this.
We’re now separated by an ocean, thousands of miles & a few time zones. Our encounters are limited & not enough, I miss friends like these. So in lieu of each other we were forced to pursue our own endeavours. Allow me then to introduce you to the creative mind of Aaron Dezonie. He has, & continues to keep, the streets of the midlands & beyond abuzz with his Dark Circle Clothing line. He has recently released his spring/summer 2012 line titled ‘No Pain, No Profit.’ The growth of the brand has been an amazing thing to watch, I have been privileged enough to see it from its inception to the movement which it is now. Please, if you get a chance, take a look at what Aaron has created from nothing.
(But) if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel. and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me . . . – V
Ah… you think darkness is your ally… but you merely adopted the dark, I was born in it…molded by it. I didn’t not see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding. The shadows betray you… because they belong to me. – Bane
